Rona K. Corp, Jewelry Design Company, founded in 1991 is the original creator of The KIDS™ charms. As President, I share with you the American Dream Story.

The twinkle-in-the-eye behind Rona K Corp’s trademarked The KIDS™ is my father, Stanley Cohen, and his love of family and, especially, children. We own a Jewelry Store in Manhattan since 1950. It was obvious that there was a void in the jewelry industry for a beautiful charm to represent the most precious moment of a family’s life, the birth of their children. Rona K Corp. was up to the task and designed The KIDS™. It began as a single charm in 1990. Our customer’s family grew which required us to create the ADD A KID program for their charm, pin or necklace! The children that each KID represented loved to see their Mom, Grandma’s and Dad’s wearing them!

Just as each of your kids have different personalities, so do Rona K Corp’s The KIDS™. HUG was the first born of The KIDS™. Garnering attention, as all first-borns do, the design won second place in the 1991 Modern Jewelers Magazine International Design Contest. KISSES, JOY, and LOVE soon followed, born in 1993, 1994, and 1995, adding to Rona K Corp’s growing family, and on their way to becoming America’s favorite Mother’s and Grandma charm.
